advantages of using nitrogen air
​


​1. bleed pressure slower than compressed normal air. Allows for more constant tyre pressure. 

2. Longer tyre life.Less fluctuations in air allow for longer lifespan of tyres. 

3.Oxidation is blocked.Oxygen causes oxidation. Oxidation can make rubber brittle, increasing the chance of a blow-out. Nitrogen air in the tyre blocks the oxidation of the internal rubbe.

4.Nitrogen air has the potential of being greener for the world.

As nitrogen-filled tyres maintain a more constant pressure & temperatures allowing for increased mileage per tyre, 

Summary

the demand for tyres could decrease. If we all used nitrogen air their would be a long term benefit on the users pockets and our environment.

ultimatly decreasing the use for natural resources & the need to change tyres more frequently. 

disadvantages of using nitrogen air

1. STILL REQUIRES routine tYre maintenance LIKE NORMAL AIR PRESSURE.  

If a driver does not perform routine tYre/VEHICLE maintenance, with or without nitrogen AIR, the tYres will not LAST.
 
2.Nitrogen users should be diligent about topping UP with nitrogen AIR to ensure they are getting the FULL intended benefits.

​It is worth noting that it is perfectly safe to add regular air to a tire that has been filled with nitrogen.
